Poland's counter-intelligence service detained Huawei employee Wang Weijing and a former Polish senior intelligence agent in Warsaw on allegations of spying. According to a foreign ministry statement, China's embassy in Warsaw has asked the Polish foreign ministry for more details on Wang's case and to arrange an early consular meeting. It says the matter should be handled in a just and legal manner, and the legitimate rights and interests, as well as the safety and humanitarian treatment of the detained should be guaranteed.
