Hospitals face shutdown due to fuel shortage in Gaza

Gaza's Health Ministry says 340,000 people will soon be deprived of essential health services in hospitals due to a severe shortage of fuel. As a result, the ministry says electric generators that run on fuel at the Beit Hanoun Hospital shut down on Thursday. A spokesman said the fuel crisis has forced hospitals to rely on emergency small capacity generators to maintain the minimal level of the most vital services.
