NASA says the U.S. and China will coordinate efforts in moon exploration. The agency said that its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is expected to take images of the landing site of China's lunar probe Chang'e-4 at the end of this month when the orbiter passes the lander. The two countries will be working together to observe the landing plume caused by the Chang'e 4. The study could provide more information for future lunar missions and how they could land on the moon's surface. The agency said significant findings resulting from the cooperation would be shared with the global research community in February at a United Nations space gathering in Austria.
