According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Advantage Lithium Corp's temporarily ousted chief executive is set to become the latest person to face criminal charges for taking part in the largest college-admissions fraud scheme in US history. CEO David Sidoo is due to appear in Boston federal court to be charged with paying $200,000 to the scam’s accused mastermind, William “Rick” Singer, to arrange for people to take the SAT admissions test for his two sons. Reuters reports that nearly 50 people, including prominent executives, Hollywood actors and college coaches, face charges, in which prosecutors say earned Singer approximately $25 million over eight years.
