UK Prime Minister Theresa May admitted that she does not yet have enough votes to get her Brexit deal through parliament at the third time of asking, during an address to the House of Commons in London on Monday.

May also said she was “sceptical” about whether allowing MPs indicative votes on alternative Brexit options will produce a decision.

The leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, said the government’s approach to Brexit has become a “national embarrassment.”

Last week, the prime minister requested an extension to the negotiation period from the originally planned March 29.
