The dramatic results achieved by the Scottish National Party in the UK general elections are still being digested. But just days after Nicola Sturgeon’s party defied the conventional electoral logic, political knives have been drawn. Just how much impact can 56 MPs have in a parliament of over 600? And, could the weight of public expectation be the biggest obstacle to the SNP after all?
