Xi Jinping calls for expanding cultural exchanges

Chinese President Xi Jinping is scheduled to go to Brussels today for talks on an EU-China investment agreement. On Saturday, Xi met with German President Joachim Gauck and Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss strengthening trade ties and China's take on global affairs. Some 150 Chinese business executives are also travelling with Xi. They signed several deals with German companies, in a sign of a thriving relationship between two of the world's top exporters.
