If greenhouse gas emissions continue unabated, sea levels could rise twice as fast as previously expected by the end of the century. That’s according to new research that shows that massive Antarctic ice could melt faster than predicted, causing irreversible sea level rise. The study’s co-author, geoscientist Robert Deconto, joins RT America’s Anya Parampil for more.
