West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has refuted suggestions that he will be sacked by the club, saying that he has received no indication from chairmen David Gold and David Sullivan that his job is under threat.

Despite beating local rivals Tottenham 2-0 last weekend, the Hammers have endured a miserable run of form in which they have lost four of their last five matches, and heading in to the final game of the season sit 12th in the table.

Despite safely steering them from relegation, there has been vocal fan protest against Allardyce and his style of play throughout the year. It is believed his fate will be decided early next week following a scheduled end-of-season meeting with the club's co-owners Gold and Sullivan.
