Second Prison Employee Arrested Following 'Shawshank' Escape

According to multiple outlets, authorities arrested corrections officer Gene Palmer Wednesday in connection with the daring June 6th escape of two inmates from an upstate New York prison. On Tuesday, it was revealed that the tools the inmates, Richard Matt and David Sweat, used to escape were smuggled to them inside raw meat. The meat was allegedly delivered by Palmer. According to a release by the New York State Police, the charges against Palmer are a combination of felonies and misdemeanors. They include: "Promoting prison contraband, two counts of tampering with physical evidence, and one count of official misconduct."
