Good morning, and TGIF! Here are some of the stories we're following today: Seventeen-year-old Malala Yousafzai is the youngest-ever recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. She famously survived an assassination attempt by the Taliban two years ago and has gone on to champion women’s education around the world. Officials said Thursday, Thomas Eric Duncan told the Dallas hospital that was treating him that he didn’t want to be resuscitated. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital detailed Duncan's care and death in a statement, saying it hoped to “correct misconceptions” about the much-scrutinized case and victim's treatment. Hundreds of protesters angered by the fatal shooting of a black teen by an off-duty officer faced off with police in riot gear overnight in south St. Louis. The protesters hurled abuse at police, who silently stood their ground. Officers used pepper spray at one point and some protesters burned the American flag after a vigil for 18-year-old Vonderrit Myers.
