BURLINGTON, WASHINGTON — Charges against a 20-year-old man who gunned down shoppers at a Washington mall in have just been upped, which means he could be facing certain death.

KIRO 7 reports that at 6:52 p.m. on Sept 23, Arcan Cetin walked into a Macy’s inside Cascade Mall in Burlington with a Ruger 22-caliber rifle.

CCTV cameras in the store recorded him randomly gunning people down in cold blood.

The shooter killed a teen near some clothing racks, before running after and shooting down an adult male. He fired at a woman hiding behind the cosmetics counter, before shooting two more nearby in quick succession. Cetin then set his weapon on the counter and made his escape.

Five people with ages ranging from 16 to 95 were killed in the one-minute shooting rampage.

Cetin was apprehended by police 30 hours later, and admitted to his crime.
