During the sentencing hearing for the Charleston church shooter, one of the victim's family members confronted at the gunman offering forgiveness.
Janet Scott, the aunt of the youngest victim killed in the massacre, also pleaded with Dylann Roof to look at her as she spoke of her slain nephew's big heart.
The 22-year-old, convicted on 33 counts late last year in his federal trial, simply gazed ahead with his head lowered.
Roof recently received the death penalty for his actions on the night of June 17, 2015, when he shot and killed nine parishioners at a church in South Carolina.
