In the fall of 2014, a group of friends tired of what they perceived as a lack of representation of people of color in the media, decided to take matters into their own hands. At 20, Tony Weaver Jr. founded Weird Enough Productions, a new type of production company dedicated to combatting minority misrepresentation and promoting media literacy education. Weaver joins RT America’s Anya Parampil to talk about what issues his company has tackled and more.
