U.S. Spies Don't Want Trump To Call Them Nazis

Опубликовано 12 января 2017, 3:37
Trump's relationship with U.S. spies could be the most toxic relationship between U.S. intelligence and a commander in chief ever. President Richard Nixon didn’t trust the CIA on the Vietnam War. President George W. Bush didn’t much like what the CIA had to say about the war in Iraq. But Donald Trump was the first commander in chief to compare America’s spies to Nazis, which happened in his first news conference as president-elect today. Many former top intelligence officials told The Daily Beast that Trump’s comments come close to a declaration of bureaucratic war. Some say he's undermining credibility he will need as president. But they also say the recent documents that say Russia may have compromising info on Trump is poorly sourced gossip.
