The film 'Survival in Shanghai' is a Chinese-made documentary that tells the story of how Shanghai sheltered over 20,000 Jewish refugees during the Second World War. On Tuesday, it was screened to the United States Congress.The film made its debut in New York City in 2015, with another screening in Washington DC the same year. The film has since received positive feedback from Jewish people in the US. The film will be collected by the Library of Congress and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Joining Liu Xin from Washington is Yang Yingjie, the producer of the documentary.
