South Korea: Samsung exec questioned over corruption scandal

Samsung Electronics' Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong was questioned at the independent counsel's office in Seoul on Thursday as a suspect in the wide-ranging bribery case that resulted in the impeachment of South Korea's president.

Lee was approached by journalists upon his arrival at the prosecutor's office. The building and neighbouring street were heavily guarded by police as the proceedings got underway.
