'People are dying like ants': SACP marches in KZN against political killings

Published on 3 Feb 2017, 13:58
The SACP staged a march in Inchanga, west of Durban, on Friday morning marching to the local police station to deliver a memorandum of demands against political killings and other crimes that are taking place in the area. For over a year the area has been marred by internecine political violence between the SACP and its alliance partner the ANC. KwaZulu-Natal SACP chair and former eThekwini Mayor James Nxumalo together with independent local Ward 4 councillor Malombo Nxumalo led the march calling for more policing to stop intimidation of witnesses and killings.
