A 20-year-old Syrian asylum seeker, Shaas al-Mohammad, was sentenced to five years in a juvenile prison, in Berlin, on Friday, convicted of membership in the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and helping plan an attack in Berlin that was never carried out.
