Do Eclipse’s Alter the Behavior of Animals?

Опубликовано 13 августа 2017, 14:50
Evidence and a few scientific studies suggest that when eclipses occur, large swaths of the animal kingdom alter their behavior. Witnesses say they have seen songbirds go quiet, large farm animals lie down, crickets chirp and chickens roost. Another study from 1998 says that fish also respond to changes in light during an eclipse. As well as whales and dolphins, who have been seen hanging out on the ocean’s surface during past eclipses. Be on the lookout for any strange animal behavior when the Great American Eclipse comes on August 21!
