A Boy Scout died on a hiking trip, and his parents say the tragedy was preventable. 15-year-old Reid Comita needed to earn one more merit badge to become an Eagle Scout. His parents say he signed up for an introductory backpacking class that was supposed to have adult supervision. Instead, they say he was sent on a more advanced hike in temperatures close to 100 degrees and the people leading it were teenagers.
