The leader of Lebanon’s resistance movement Hezbollah has declared victory in the war against foreign-backed terrorists in Syria.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Syrian troops and their allied forces were just QUOTE scattered battles away from winning the conflict. Nasrallah noted that the opponents of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad had failed in their attempt to oust Assad and were calling for negotiations for some gains. The Russian military also said Syrian forces had won back 85 percent of the country. Meanwhile in Damascus, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited President Assad, where they discussed their countries’ military and tactical cooperation for the destruction of Daesh terrorists in Syria. They also stressed the allies’ determination to continue their joint battle to eradicate terrorism all over Syria.
