Space: Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft successfully delivers Expedition 53-54 to ISS

Expedition 53-54, comprising of Russian cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin and NASA astronauts Mark Vande Hei and Joe Acaba, successfully arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a Soyuz MS-06 spacecraft, on Wednesday.

The trio departed on their fast-track path to the space station from the Russian manned launch facility in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, at 03:17 local time (21:17 GMT on Tuesday). They were greeted aboard the ISS by cosmonaut Sergei Ryazansky, NASA astronaut Randy Bresnik and the European Space Agency's Paolo Nespoli.
