Motel 6 Locations Suspected Of Tipping Off ICE Agents

According to reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests have been made from two Motel 6 locations in largely Latino neighborhoods in Arizona. An estimated 20 arrests were made from the two locations were between February and August. In one case, ICE officers were said to be "following a lead" after "receiving information" on the specific room number of a suspect. Hours earlier, that suspect had shown the front-desk clerk a Mexican voter ID card. This has given credibility to the theory that employees were tipping off officials on an alleged undocumented immigrant's location. Employees from the two locations reported that sharing guest information with ICE was standard practice.
