College Lecturer Does Not Regret Controversial Tweet About Trump

A college lecturer in California State University posted some intense tweets about President Trump back in February. Lars Maischak's first tweet stated: “To save American democracy, Trump must hang. The sooner and higher the better." Only two days later he tweeted again and said: "Has anyone started soliciting money and design drafts for a monument honoring the Trump assassin, yet?” This of course blew up and Lars was attacked for his words. He was put on leave and given a non-teaching job by his school and now is unsure if his contract will be renewed. Lars has finally talked about the incident and told Politico that he does not regret hat he tweeted and is thinking of suing the school administration if his contract is not renewed.
