Parts of California's Santa Barbara County were being scoured on Saturday by a massive influx of search and rescue crews as seven people remain missing following mudslides that killed at least 18. A spokeswoman for the multi-agency emergency response team told reporters, "They are hopeful that we will still recover live victims out there." An additional 900 emergency workers have arrived in Montecito, north of Los Angeles joining the relief effort underway by more than 2,100 personnel from local, state and federal agencies.
