North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un says that it is important to boost the warm climate of reconciliation and dialogue with the South.
He made the remarks after meeting with a delegation that returned to the North after their three-day visit to the South for the Winter Olympics. Kim expressed "satisfaction" over the visit and described the efforts made by Seoul as "very impressive" and "sincere". The delegation, which included the North Korean leader’s sister was the first of its kind since the end of the Korea war. During the visit, Kim Yo Jong delivered a letter from her brother, asking South Korean President Moon Jae-in to visit Pyongyang. Meanwhile, Seoul has said it would seek a new thaw in relations by arranging more family reunions and lowering military tensions with Pyongyang.
