Watch: Venomous snake rescued from open well after 5-days

Resident of Phuleswari slum in Bhubaneswar asked for help to rescue a snake, which fell in an open well. Snake Helpline secretary Subhendu Mallik reached the spot with an assistant. Subhendu used a well hook and rope to rescue the snake from the well. The Russell's viper which fell into the well five days ago, immediately cling to the hook. Then the volunteers of Snake Helpline slowly pull the role and rescued the snake. Later, the Russell's viper snake was released into its natural habitat.
