Alice Gerstel and Simon Gronowski were friends in 1941 in Nazi-occupied Belgium. But then her family fled to Paris, and he jumped from a train transporting him to Auschwitz. Now, 76 years later, Gerstel and Gronowski have reunited. The old friends shared tears and memories at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.
