Senate Democrats are choosing to rally around the issue of net neutrality as a means of energizing their base ahead of this year’s midterm elections. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and the sponsor of the Congressional Review Act resolution to nullify the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality, Ed Markey, are leading the cause. This is one of those rare—but pleasantly surprising—instances where Democrats are actually doing the right thing.
