Hundreds of demonstrators staged a rally in front of the headquarters of the Organization of American States in Caracas on Wednesday to protest the upcoming presidential vote which is scheduled for this weekend.

The protesters blocked the street in front of OAS office and urged people to boycott the elections.

A Venezuelan opposition politician Juan Pablo Guanipa addressed to the crowd, saying that "A dictator calls a farcical [election] using an electoral council that is an organ of the ruling PSUV (United Socialist Party of Venezuela) party, to try to stay in power against the will of the Venezuelan people."
