What Is Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity, and Do I Have It?

Опубликовано 21 мая 2018, 22:15
People who tested negative for celiac disease used to be disbelieved for claiming gluten sensitivity.
Now, non-celiac gluten sensitivity has become formally recognized as a distinct clinical condition.
That's because NCGS is hard to diagnose and has little research to support it.
Also, its symptoms are similar to those of IBS, Crohn's disease and other GI disorders.
Diagnosing NCGS is tricky. Experts suggest eliminating all gluten first for a few weeks.
If you feel better, see your doctor to get to the root cause.
