The scorching heat seems to have started troubling the wild animals. 11 peacocks were found dead in the forests of Bhilwara's Raisinghpura in Rajasthan. However, the veterinary officers and the forest rangers managed to save two other peacocks that were found unconscious in the forest. According to area’s Deputy Conservator of Forest, HS Hapawat, out of the eleven dead peacocks, seven were females while four were males. The autopsy reports clarified that the peacocks died due to heat stroke. To avoid such situations in future, arrangements of drinking water have been made for the animals in different areas.
