It’s a cold case that’s baffled homicide detectives for 45 years, and now they’re taking a unique approach to solving the crime. The Newport Beach Police Department created a Twitter account for 11-year-old Linda O’Keefe. Linda went missing while walking home from school in 1973, and her body was found the next day. In the tweets, Linda is essentially narrating the last hours of her life. The tweets include specific details about the case. It’s hoped they will jog someone’s memory.
