Major fire at Ananta Basudev Temple; 22 rooms of kitchen complex gutted

At least 22 rooms of kitchen complex at Ananta Basudev Temple in Bhubaneshwar were razed to ashes after a major fire broke out at the temple premises in the early hours of Friday. In about a minutes time, fire engulfed the entire complex, as the kitchen rooms were thatched with paddy straw. The fire was spotted by the locals and they soon informed the fire brigade. Three fire tenders rushed to the temple immediately and the fire was brought under control. Relevantly thousands of devotees depend on the food cooked in the temple premises everyday.
