According to MNN, studies show that cutting out sleep could lead to obesity, diabetes and even cancer.
But what happens if you sleep too much?
It turns out, it could also lead to troubling results.
A new study published in August by the Journal of the American Heart Association said that people who sleep over eight hours have a "greater mortality and cardiovascular risk" than those who get less than seven hours of rest.
Sleep-aholics who usually get about 10 hours of zzz's per night have a "30 percent higher chance of dying compared to the seven-hour crowd."
