RIP Dominic Grant.
Singer Dominic Grant has died at the age of 71, his family have said.
A statement on behalf of his wife Julie Forsyth said: “It is with such great sadness that I have to tell you I have lost my darling Dominic, suddenly on Wednesday November 18, 2020, to an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
“He was an amazing husband, father, brother and brand new grandad. My heart is shattered.
Along with his wife – the daughter of entertainer Sir Bruce Forsyth – Grant was part of the pop group Guys ‘n’ Dolls, who found success in the 1970s.
Their singles 'There’s A Whole Lot Of Loving' and 'You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me' reached the top 10 in the UK.

Guys 'n' Dolls was founded in 1974 as an answer to ABBA. They scored some hits, of which 'You're My World' even became a number 1 hit. The band consisted of members Paul Griggs (1944), David Van Day (1956), Thereza Bazar (1957), Dominic Grant (1949), Martine Howard and Julie Forsyth (1958).
After Bazar and Van Day left the group in 1978, they achieved great success in Britain as the duo Dollar. With Griggs, Howard, Grant and Forsyth, Guys 'n' Dolls continued his way. In 1980 the band moved to the Netherlands, where they started working with record producer Gerard Stellaard.
Guys 'n' Dolls fell apart in 1985, after which Grant & Forsyth continued as a duo and scored some hits.
