Roxy Music were an English (originally glam-) rock band formed in 1970 by Bryan Ferry, who became the band's lead vocalist and chief songwriter, plus bassist Graham Simpson, guitarist Phil Manzanera, saxophone and oboe player Andy Mackay and drummer Paul Thompson. Former members include Brian Eno (synthesizer and "treatments"), Eddie Jobson (synthesizer and violin), and John Gustafson (bass)

In the line-up of Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, Gary Tibbs and Paul Thompson this song 'Angel Eyes' from their 1979 album Manifesto was recorded by TROS Top 50 on August 16, 1979. At the occasion they received a gold record for the album Manifesto in the Netherlands that day.
