Midwest Blizzard Downgrades To Heavy Rain Storms

According to Reuters, a deadly blizzard that left at least two people dead in the Midwest has fizzled to heavy rain storms. The storms will now will soak parts of the southeast, Gulf Coast and New England throughout the weekend. The Midwest is now digging out of the snow the blizzard left in parts of five different states which saw up to 10 inches in some areas. Following the snow, the storm dropped five inches of rain on Biloxi, Mississippi and four inches on Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the gulf coast. The rain will then weaken as it spreads eastward into Georgia and up through the Northeast.
