Justise Winslow Stepping Up Big For The Miami Heat

According to Deadspin, Justise Winslow is averaging 15.2 points, 5.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds in his last 13 games for the Miami Heat, six of those as the team’s point guard. During that stretch, Miami is 9-4 and now currently sitting in 7th place in the Eastern Conference with a 17-17 record. Winslow has stepped up big for the Heat, who lost starting point guard Goran Dragić to a season-ending injury earlier this month. The 22-year-old Winslow was once rumored to be a part of Miami’s trade package for Jimmy Butler, but he is likely now saving the team from tanking early on in the NBA season.
