Wade Foster, co-founder/CEO of Zapier, has a few ideas of why people get so distracted during work. He said people have trouble focusing because of constant “context-switching” between different productivity tools. According to Lifehack, Foster said “automation” might the the easiest way to solve the problem. He said by cutting out manual, repetitive actions, it allows a team or worker to be more productive. But really, he said it’s less about the tools and more about the simple habits of how you approach your work.
