Family condemn killing of Lee Pomeroy on Surrey train as man and woman held | ITV News

The family of the father stabbed to death in front of his teenage son on a train in Surrey have condemned the killing as a “horrific and pointless attack”.

The 51-year-old, who has been named as Lee Pomeroy, was described by his loved ones as a “devoted family man” who would “help somebody who was in trouble”.

Mr Pomeroy died at Horsley station after being repeatedly stabbed on Friday as he and his 14-year-old son travelled to London.
