Teachers strike in Denver after demands aren't met

Denver Teachers walked away from their classrooms today after the Denver Classroom Teacher’s Association and the school district failed to reach an agreement over the weekend. Although school officials have staffed most classrooms with substitutes and administrators, officials fear they may not be able to keep schools open if the strike lingers.
