Delhi to get additional 1.5 lakh CCTV cameras, tender process started: Manish Sisodia

In a step towards ensuring the safety of women in Delhi, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia announced that the tender process for an additional 1.5 lakh CCTV cameras in Delhi has already begun. Sisodia announced that installation work of the cameras has already begun at an event gathering, where he inaugurated the installation work of 2,000 CCTV cameras in his assembly constituency of Patparganj. In total, Delhi will have 3 lakh CCTV cameras once the entire project is completed by December 2019.
