Ruptly is live from Hong Kong on Saturday, July 27, as protesters gather to demonstrate against the government following violent episodes over the previous weekend’s protests.

On Sunday, July 21, dozens of masked men attacked commuters and anti-government protesters inside the Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway (MTR) station of Yuen Long . Forty-five people were reportedly injured.

Since the wave of protests began in June, with hundreds of thousands marching on a weekly basis, the extradition bill has been suspended indefinitely but protesters are now demanding its full withdrawal and the resignation of Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam.
