Beto Stands By Religious Tax Exemption Policy

Beto O'Rourke is standing by his policy to revoke tax-exempt status for religions he deems anti-LGBTQ.
On MSNBC, he said the policy would also apply to historically black colleges and universities.
O'Rourke's plan has been roundly criticized by all segments of Americans.
Fellow candidate Pete Buttigieg slammed the policy, saying it's tantamount to going to war with churches.
"I’m not sure he understood the implications of what he was saying."
He pointed out that this would that violate separation of church and state.
The South Bend, Indiana mayor said it would also would nullify nonprofits in the country.
