Lawmakers eye youth sports, concussions

Issues involving youth football and other contact sports are the focus at the State House Tuesday, with lawmakers looking at setting protocols for young athletes and concussions. Some of the world's foremost experts on chronic traumatic encephalopathy, CTE, are expected to be in attendance. There's also expected to be discussion about a bill restricting the sale of certain energy drinks to kids under the age of 18, if those drinks have taurine or high amounts of caffeine. A total of 32 bills are on the docket.
