Flu Season: Two More Dead As Illness Continues To Spread

Connecticut confirmed Thursday that two adults have died as a result of influenza-related complications.
According to the CDC, 2.3% of healthcare visits this week were related to "influenza-like illness."
To date, three children have died nationally of flu-related causes so far during the 2019-2020 season.
According to UPI, Louisiana was the only state to report high flu activity this week.
14 states reported moderate or low activity, including Alabama, Mississippi, and Texas.
Last year in Connecticut 3,506 people were hospitalized for flu-related illnesses and 88 people died.
