Buttigieg Vows To Level Education Playing Field

Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg says that he wants to level the playing field when it comes to access to quality education for all.
Reuters reports that on Saturday the South Bend, Indiana mayor pledged to allocate billions of dollars to improve public education if elected.
The plan would increase money and resources for “underserved children” and reduce the costs of daycare and pre-kindergarten education.
Buttigieg, who has faced skepticism among black voters, said "America’s education system takes already vast disparities and makes them worse."
Pete's plan would also allocate $500 million "to support racial and economic school integration," which includes affordable housing in high-performing school districts.
