Mourners gathered in Jersey City on Friday, to pay tributes to four people killed in Tuesday's attack at a Jewish kosher market.

People were standing beside the photos of the victims, with some of the attendees giving speeches.

"We have strong laws here in New Jersey, but it doesn't do any good, because the guns that come to New Jersey come from outside New Jersey," said Congressman Albio Sires. Sires added that he "can't understand how we can't have background check and the loop holes that they put when you buy a gun."

Media quoted authorities as saying that the attack is being investigated as a "potential act of domestic terrorism fueled both by anti-Semitism and anti-law enforcement beliefs."
